The refrigerator voltage guard (rated at 13amps maximum) is designed to protect your appliances (fridge, freezer, pump, motor) against voltage fluctuations and especially low power, brownouts, frequent power cuts, and power back surges. The refrigerator guard will disconnect the power to your appliance if the main’s voltage drops below or above a pre-ser limit. The refrigerator voltage guard will reconnect automatically only after the power supply has returned to an acceptable limit after a 3 minute wait time. The time save function will ensue that the refrigerator voltage guard provides the maximum operation time to your appliance by having built in intelligence monitoring the off time. If the appliance has been off for more than 3 minutes it will reconnect the mains within 10 seconds rather than the standard 3 minutes waiting time.
